Take away order on a typhoon day. Order was made thru OpenRice App, Chicken Noodle soup combo, served with a side dish of spring roll and a drink of Viet ice coffee.By the time I picked up the food, staff didn’t bother proactively inform me that ice coffee was not unavailable until I realized there was no drink given in my lunch pack. The staff response was simply like, “yeah, well, it’s unavailable”, with no reason given. To being honest, I guess anyone would accept a simple explanation say

To being honest, I guess anyone would accept a simple explanation saying that things are a bit out of hands on a post typhoon day.
I then asked the staff if I could get a can of coke as a replacement instead as soft drinks are available for the combo according to their menu. The lovely answer I was getting was “yes, but you will have to pay for it, since it’s not on your receipt.” Wow, what a funny logic and incredible way of doing business.
This was my 2nd visit to the restaurant for take out since discovering this little Viet place in this a couple of weeks ago. Foods are not bad in general, portion and taste are both decent. However, with the way they handle their businesses, I had probably pay my last visit.
