Heard good things about this Japanese-style cafe for a while now but they originated from Tai Po which is quite far from me so never had a chance to pay a visit. Once I know they have a TST branch, I come here a few times during weekends but ALWAYS has a long queue outside... so I decided to try my luck once again on a weekday afternoon and yes no queue required. The first thing to notice is that their waiters and waitresses are very responsive and polite and the vibe of the restaurant did bring
Picked an iced Americano and Omurice with Japanese Style Beef Cheek Stew in Red wine sauce (their recommended dish). When the rice comes, they cut the omelet in front of you and pour that rich gravy on it, which certainly makes me salivate. The omelet was made to perfection, the sauce was rich but not salty, a perfect match with the rice and egg. which the beef cheek was flavorful and so tender that melted in your mouth. The portion was quite generous as well. Overall this definitely satisfied and exceeded my expectation. To be honest I was just quite overwhelmed with how good the Omurice was. the Americano was just soso.
I heard really good things about their dessert but since I was alone and really full from the rice, I will definitely return for more.
聽過呢間日式咖啡店好耐，但佢哋本店係喺大埔，遠咗啲所以冇機會去過。知道佢哋有尖沙咀分店之後，我幾次喺weekend 嚟過，但每次都要排長龍...所以我決定平日下午再試下，果然冇需要排隊。第一個注意到嘅係佢哋嘅服務員好有禮貌，餐廳嘅氛圍令人彷彿回到日本，我好中意。
我揀咗一杯冰美式咖啡同埋日式紅酒燉牛頰肉飯包蛋（佢哋嘅推薦菜）。當飯上嚟嗰陣，佢哋會喺你面前切開蛋包，然後淋上醬汁，真係令我口水直流。蛋包做得好好，醬汁濃郁但唔太鹹，同飯同蛋絕配。牛頰肉味道豐富，好嫩好滑，入口即化。份量都幾大方。整體上嚟講，呢個確實令我滿意，超出咗我嘅期望。老實講，我係對呢個蛋包燉飯感到相當驚艷。美式咖啡就一般般啦。
聽講佢哋嘅甜品好出色，但我一個人食飽咗，下次一定會再黎試吓。
