Dinner with WineLover. Went for the “Australia: new wave” All-you-can-taste” for 2 hours at $350 pp. We were given 6 wines- 3 whites and 3 reds.Didn’t like the set menu but didn’t wanna use brain, so server kindly organised an ad hoc “bites” set for us, based on what we preferred and didn’t, and what they thought would go with the wine selection. Whitebait potato balls with Mango salsa
Minced chicken skewer with Teriyaki sauce
Deep fried Chicken
Beef tripe stew in Tomato sauce and chickpeas
Miso marinated cod
Smoked hanger steak with Yuzu pepper.
Chocolate pistachio tart.
In summary: it was all a blur really with all the drinking and chatting. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Excellent choice for HH/casual dinner with good quality wine.
