Two of us ordered a variety of dishes, which I genuinely recommend every single one. I get the impression that the portion of the dish is smaller than similar restaurants, and the price is relatively lower. I guess it is a wise strategy so that diners could try more types of dishes at an affordable price.

All dishes are recommended - lovely presentation and well-balanced taste!

The chicken skewer with shiso leaf and plum sauce is a delicious combination of tender, juicy chicken with a slightly tangy and sweet plum sauce on the side. The shiso leaf adds a refreshing and herbaceous note to the dish.

Sea grape is a type of seaweed that resembles small grapes. It is known for its crunchy texture and savoury flavour, but seems to be an uncommon salad choice in most Japanese restaurants. Glad to have it there.

Cocktail - Kyoho grapes chuwari $65
Cocktails made with Kyoho grapes carry a slightly sweet taste that pairs well with grilled dishes, sushi, etc.

Smoked white radish with cream cheese $58
This dish was truly impressive. It came with a glass cover that allowed the smoke to infuse the dish for a perfect amount of time. Even after removing the cover, the smoky flavor still lingered on my palate. The combination of the chewy radish, cream cheese, and smoke was simply magical.

Simmered Daikon (Daikon Fukumeni) $28
Daikon is the hero of the dish because it is just a daikon cooked in soy-based broth. The cooking is simple but it tastes so good. It is made with thick discs of daikon by cutting the daikon root horizontally, then peeling the skin thinly. The daikon absorbs the rich flavors of the broth, resulting in a tender and juicy texture. The dish has a slightly sweet and savory taste, with a hint of umami from the ingredients. Cook time is quite long, but worth the wait.

I must restate that all dishes are amazing. If I could only recommend a few, they would be smoked white radish with cream cheese and Daikon Fukumeni.
