Me and my friend went to 7e King Curry as we explored the infamous Chong Hing Mansion right the Herat of Tsim Sha Tsui and we weren’t disappointed! Value for money and friendly staff! We were greeted by a gentleman (assuming he works for 7E curry king) by the entrance of the mansion, by the way, he was extremely polite and led us to the restaurant.
Once we sat down, the waiter greeted us with complementary homemade papadums with mint sauces (😋😋). Whist we struggled to make our minds up, the waiter proactively came over and started recommending their signature dishes to us. He was extremely helpful! After his comments we decided to go for the some currys along with some garlic nan breads, plain rice.
Didn’t take long before the food was served. 1st up was the salad- Aloo Chaat. It was extremely fresh with the onions and tomatoes the standout ingredients! So much juice! Vola!
On comes our main course which was Chicken Madras and Prawn Masala. I was surprised by the flavours (in a good way!) it was just enough to give u that kick u expect from a curry without going over the top. There were plenty of prawns and chicken in there too! 🤙🤙.
And finally it comes to the garlic nan bread, it was simply awesome! Freshly baked and served! It goes extremely well with their masala sacue!
If you think curry can be heavy, try out their signature drink Mango Lassi, the fresh fruits offers the breather you might need! It definitely gave me one!
In terms of cost, it was awesome, value for money and a mid week curry night cannot go wrong at this place. Highly recommended!
