Today, we visited a hidden Omakase restaurant that a friend recommended, and it was truly an unforgettable culinary journey! 🍣✨ The dinner set was only $1680, yet we enjoyed such exquisite dishes—what a steal!We started with Kyoto tofu skin paired with sea urchin, which was incredibly silky, and the sea urchin’s freshness burst in our mouths. Next up was the sashimi selection: the Hokkaido Akkeshi oysters with dashi jelly were simply divine! We also had the geoduck and clams, served with shiso plum salt, yuzu salt, and bamboo charcoal salt—each bite was a flavor explosion. The flounder with its liver sauce was delightful, and the marinated mackerel with liver sauce and soy sauce was a perfect combination.The slow-cooked monkfish liver was rich and creamy, while the grilled cod milt was a treat. We also enjoyed the sake-steamed abalone with abalone liver sauce—so flavorful! The sea urchin tempura with Matsuba crab, topped with sea urchin and salmon roe, was a sweet surprise alongside high-sugar tomatoes. 🍅Afterwards, we had sea urchin chawanmushi, a delightful steamed egg custard that melted in our mouths.Followed by a selection of sushi: fresh Hokkaido scallops, golden-eye snapper, marinated tuna, chutoro, akami, and Hokkaido sea urchin, along with the decadent otoro.
