1. Other than Taiwanese bubble milk tea shops, restaurants that offer all-you-can-eat vegetarian buffet also blossom recently. I kinda like this trend as it promotes a healthy eating habit of going green, as well as changes people’s stereotype towards vegetarian diet as boring and tasteless.
2. This time, I tried Ahimsa Buffet with 3 of my first-aid classmates. There are 3 branches of Ahimsa Buffet in Hong Kong (Mong Kok, Jordan, and North Point), we picked the Mong Kok branch for convenience sake. We visited on a Friday night at about 8pm. The restaurant was really busy at that time. Make sure you make a reservation to secure a seat!
3.  There are a nice and wide range of food for you to choose from: salad, Chinese style main dish like rice and noodles, Western style mains, fried/ stir-fry/steamed vegetables, soup, dessert (both Chinese and Western styles), as well as drinks.
4. Even though the food on my dish looked kinda similar, but they do have an unique texture and taste which are really good. I particularly love the fried tofu skin roll and signature vegetarian cheese tart. Do give them a try!
5. High turn-over rate of food means a constant refill, this keeps the food hot and fresh. This is very important for fried dishes on the table. Very nice job indeed! I wouldn’t mind visiting again soon. And the seating is friendly for friends or family gathering.
