Restaurant: 容記小菜王

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 看到某雜誌評選香港食肆的乾炒牛河,容記小菜王的排名頗高,曽慕名前往吃午市套餐,其中一款是乾炒牛河,的確不錯。清明期間,掃完墓便與親友再去那裡吃午飯,我們五個人,其中三個年青人都能吃,故點了七個小菜: 天下第一雞半隻,肉滑油香不肥膩,好味。招牌沙拉骨,用招牌兩字是因為醬汁是自家調製,混合煉奶及沙拉醬,甜甜酸酸,醒神惹味,可惜豬扒木木乾乾實實,平白浪費了靚醬汁。家鄕秘製扣肉,扣肉甘香豐腴,入口溶化,梅菜吸取了肉汁精華,簡直是人間美味。豉椒味菜炒鵝腸,鵝腸痩而乏鮮味,醬汁又太鹹。容記小炒王,蝦米太硬,腰果少而不脆,稍鹹,不過此餸較適合送飯,我們卻沒吃白飯。鮮尤炒通菜,大大碟菜,鮮尤得數塊,幸好有鮮味。乾炒牛河,粉乾爽有咬感,牛肉有鮮味,份量也可接受,醤汁濃香,值得推薦。平心而論,搬遷後的容記,地方環境裝璜都美觀了,惜食物水準比以前大牌檔式的舊店卻差多了,但價錢平宜,食物地道,仍然值得一來再來的。
