To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 佐敦道的店已經沒有了,所以轉去了旺角吃。早了幾天訂位,一行六人去開餐。我早到了,店舖仍在執整食物中,其實已經有人客在排隊等入場,畢竟價錢非常公道所致。自助任食素菜,午餐 $78/位,不加一。越看越多客人到,慶幸自己有致電訂位,已經留了雅座給我,因為限時吃,等齊人付款入座。一個長圓形的食物區,飲的吃的,沙律,熟食,炸物,湯類,甜品,味道與質素還可以,有些合自己口味的,會再添吃,份量絕對能吃到飽飽。素菜不妨多吃,對健康與生態環境也有幫助。推介:紅菜頭~含豐富B12 ...補血 (糖尿病與血壓低人士宜少吃)後記:離開前,客人需把餐具放回收集處。
