To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. Um….這標題可能會讓人以為有新電影上畫的🤣…….都是先來一個「界題」吧👨‍🏫。「占士邦」,其實指「無肉食」的負責人James/阿邦,「邦女郎」,乃是版主的「手民之誤」😏,正確應該是「邦旅囊」😝(阿邦的旅行背囊的簡稱)。言歸正傳,我們而家就去了解下「占士邦」最近去寶島發現了甚麼「寶藏」吧。較早前,James代表店方參加台灣素食展,「零距離」接觸台灣素食,發現🔎醬料、素材變化的多元化,原來比過往認知的更廣泛。此外,在是次「寶島之旅」中,James更有緣接觸一些🆕️新供應商、🆕️新版子,發現🔍它們的食材,在製作方式、味道方面均和傳統的有不同,遂觸發了他直接從這些供應商購買食材的想法。這次的台灣採購,定位是尋找以天然材料做出仿肉風格的食材,希望能吸引一些非素食朋友,令他們對素食產生好奇,為他們帶來新鮮感。此外,James更向當地師傅👨‍🍳請教烹調方法,以求為顧客帶來更好的味覺享受😋。如果這些仿肉素食,能夠成為令非素朋友「轉素快」/「快轉素」的一個契機,那就自然更是美事一樁🤗。這晚的「台式素食先食為快飯局」,店方特別為我們準備了以下的美食:👏柯仔麵線👏鹽酥雞👏黃金魚豆腐👏脆雞塊👏炸杏鮑菇講真句,

👏鹽酥雞

👏黃金魚豆腐

👏脆雞塊

👏炸杏鮑菇

講真句,版主一看到這些食物,大部份都是「香口野」,已是雙眼發光🤩,垂涎欲滴🤤。3款炸物固然吸引,「黃金魚豆腐」也很特別,貌似豆腐,卻是彈牙的口感,咬勁十足,配上醬汁,更添美味。至於「柯仔麵線」,素柯仔的成份是麵筋和冬菇,這種麵線的另一別稱是「麵線羹」,「羹」字正正反映了這道台灣著名小吃的特色~湯底濃稠,和一般湯麵是大為不同的。只去過2次台灣的版主,當時也沒吃到這款小食,估不到竟然在香港遇上了。

要數整晚最有印象的一句話📣,就是其中一位非素食的朋友說:

「如果把這些小食在街上拿出來給我吃,我還可能真的以為是肉食呀」

這句感想,正反映James眼光獨到👀,從寶島揀選的「寶藏」,的確能引起非素朋友的興趣。有些素友可能會想:「太似肉類?😲不好吧,我不喜歡這感覺啊!」放心,無肉食自助餐還有很多選擇嘛,素友們帶同非素朋友一起來,素友吃蔬食菜餚,非素朋友品嚐這些仿肉素材,那就皆大歡喜了💕。
