During this cold season, everyone looks forward to a warm and filling hot pot meal. This time, we chose a seafood congee hotpot to welcome the first signs of winter warmth.Our special crab and meat set costs only HKD 218 per person. It includes seven kinds of seafood, six selected ingredients, three seasonal vegetables, and seafood congee. Most of the seafood is fresh and tasty; the crab meat is okay but not extraordinary. The ingredients are divided based on the number of people. The seafood congee absorbs the flavours of the ocean, if cooked thicker, it would taste even better and sweeter.In this cold season, sitting with friends and sharing this warm, delicious meal feels like a poem about appreciating life’s simple joys. The entrance is quiet and easy to miss, so best to go on a weekday. The cozy atmosphere, soft music, and dim lighting made it feel special.We ordered large portions of fried chicken, cheesy spaghetti, and warm apple pie, each dish was tasty and filling. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, while the spaghetti had melted cheese and flavorful meat sauce. The apple pie, with ice cream and cinnamon, was a perfect sweet ending. 在觀塘瑞和街熟食中心藏著一間令人驚喜的泰國菜餐廳。這是我第二次踏足這個熟食天地,心情既懷著期待😚,也帶點探秘的興奮🥰。與上一次相比,這次的體驗無疑更上一層樓。點上的烤牛肉🥩,烤得恰到好處的肉片,鎖住了豐盈的肉汁。表面微微焦香,但卻沒有過度燒焦的痕跡。另一道是傳統泰式炒通菜。香氣四溢,卻不過於水潤,保持了蔬菜的脆嫩與鮮甜。整體而言,這次的用餐經歷證明了這家泰國餐廳的用心與實力👍🏻。There is a surprising Thai restaurant hidden in the Reho Street Market food center in Kwun Tong. This is my second time visiting this food spot, and I feel excited and curious. Compared to my last visit, this time was definitely better.The grilled beef I ordered was one of the best parts of the meal. The meat was cooked just right, keeping all the juicy flavor inside. The outside was a little crispy and golden, but not burnt. Another dish was Thai stir-fried morning glory. I picked a restaurant with a view of Victoria Harbour. The calm and luxury made the celebration even more romantic.The first dish was Tuna Tartare. Its sweet and sour flavors felt like a happy melody. The fresh fish with creamy avocado and Mediterranean sauce tasted refreshing and delicious. The creamy texture was smooth and gentle. Next was Eggplant Parmigiana, with its rich aroma, like a heartfelt poem—full and deep.The main highlight was the Margherita Pizza. Its crispy crust, topped with fresh tomato sauce, melted mozzarella, and basil, was perfect. The interior design is full of vintage charm, with classic European elements creating a cosy, nostalgic atmosphere. The open kitchen shows the cooking process clearly, which is interesting but also brings a bit of oil smoke, so be prepared for that.When the meal started, I was served a hot bread roll with butter — it smelt great and was a good start. Then I tried the upgraded cream puff soup. The pastry was crispy and tasty, but the soup itself was a bit bland and lacked a strong flavour. Still, it didn’t ruin the overall experience.For the main dish, I ordered the Wellington beef fillet cooked to medium rare. The beef had some fat but was tender and tasty. Pairing it with their special sauce made the flavour even better. I also had crispy French fries and a fresh salad to go with it, which balanced the meal nicely.Overall, I had a pleasant dining experience. The best part about this restaurant is that it offers classic, high-quality dishes at a reasonable price. I first went there because of their sauerkraut fish, but now I often come back for their home-style dishes. Overall, the food tastes good and shows that the chef puts effort and skill into their cooking. However, there are some small details that could be improved.This time, I ordered a few dishes: Black Pepper Cashew Beef, Golden Squid, and Sizzling Lettuce Hotpot. For the Black Pepper Cashew Beef, I suggest they toast or roast the cashews beforehand to make them more fragrant and crunchy. The beef portion was generous, but I’d like the slices to be a bit bigger so I can enjoy the tenderness and flavor more.The Golden Squid reminded me of the traditional version made with salted egg yolk, which has a rich, savory taste. But this time, the salted egg flavor wasn’t as strong. I hope they can bring back that classic flavor in the future, as it’s very memorable.The Sizzling Lettuce Hotpot had more broth than usual this time, which might be due to the cooking process. If they can make the soup thicker and less watery, the dish would be even better. Today, I want to share a small ice cafe in the lively Causeway Bay—a place I have visited twice now.What I love most is how they bake their buns just right, giving off a tempting smell. Today, I decided to go after finishing work with a friend.I didn’t find it as surprising as online reviews suggested. The soy sauce chicken wasn‘t very flavorful, the portion was small, and the fat wasn’t fully cleaned. During lunch hours, there‘s only 45 minutes to finish, and the price is relatively high. Last month, I planned to visit but had to wait due to closures. This was my first time trying Indonesian cuisine. The bright, clean environment and warm staff made me feel welcome. I started with gado-gado, a vegetable salad with crispy prawn crackers and rich peanut sauce—delicious and satisfying. 每天都是想吃點心的路上😂,晚餐突然好想吃點心,就想起之前看YouTube說過開到凌晨兩點的點心店,就決定是它了😎。我去的是九龍城分店,我們兩個人點了4️⃣款點心,我個人最推的是他們家的奶皇包,是滿滿的奶皇🤩而且真的是流沙的~ 比起有些酒樓或是點心店,這個奶皇包誠意滿滿❤️ 蝦餃和燒賣也是合格的、好吃的,腸粉我覺得就還好🫣。但重點是📣超便宜的‼️‼️‼️結帳的時候,我記得是200塊都不用😱這價位和品質,值得推薦一個👍🏻Every day, I’m just on the way to get some dim sum. 九月份與同事們的聚會🎈 有人在社交平台上看到想試試的,但我覺得還好,反而列為避雷名單之一🤣。▶️鎮店芝麻雞 雞皮的脂肪處理得不太乾淨,不太純粹,肉質算嫩,但要看部位💁🏻‍♀️。▶️龍王杏汁燉白肺湯 湯還算好喝,但湯渣一般,杏仁味道很濃,如果不喜歡杏仁的朋友建議不要點這個。▶️西蘭花炒龍躉 這是我這餐中最能接受的一道,魚肉嫩滑,西蘭花炒得剛剛好,不硬也不軟。▶️鹹魚煎肉餅 個人覺得偏鹹,但煎得香氣四溢。▶️錦鹵雲吞 排名最後的一道菜,雲吞餡料少到幾乎吃不出來是雲吞,加上醬汁雜亂無章,有叉燒、魷魚、菠蘿、青椒,第一次見這樣的組合🤣。▶️黑松露蝦多士 炸得很酥脆,黑松露香氣濃郁,但偏鹹,感覺醃得比較重。▶️農家臘味炒飯 炒飯火力不足,但臘味香氣十足,提升整體味道。▶️甜品家鄉糯米糍 有花生、芝麻、紅豆三種配料,不算甜,但炸的碳水化合物類食物不太適合我🤣。September Gathering with Colleagues🎈 Someone saw these on social media and wanted to try them, but I think they’re okay—I’d put them on the caution list instead.🤣▶️ Signature Sesame Chicken The fat on the chicken skin isn’t very cleanly rendered, so it’s not very pure. The meat is quite tender, but it depends on the cut 💁🏻‍♀️▶️ Dragon King Apricot Juice Stewed White Lung Soup The soup is pretty good, but the broth is average. The almond flavor is strong, if you don’t like almonds, I’d suggest avoiding this.▶️ Broccoli Stir-fried with Dragon Grouper This was the most acceptable dish for me this meal. The fish is tender and smooth, and the broccoli is cooked just right—neither hard nor soft.▶️ Salted Fish Pan-fried Pork Patties Personally, I found it a bit too salty, but it’s fragrant and well-fried.▶️ Nim Lo Wonton This was the last dish on the menu. The wonton filling was so scant that you could hardly tell it was a wonton. The sauce was a mess, there was char siu, squid, pineapple, green peppers, first time seeing such a combination 🤣▶️ Black Truffle Shrimp Toast Crispy and fragrant, with a strong black truffle aroma. But it was a bit salty, probably marinated quite heavily.▶️ Farmer’s Preserved Meat Fried Rice The fried rice lacked heat, but the preserved meat’s aroma was strong, enhancing the overall flavor.▶️ Sweet DessertGlutinous Rice Balls with Peanuts, Sesame, and Red Bean. So, we went to a Western restaurant in Tuen Mun on the weekend and surprisingly enjoyed traditional claypot rice in a Western setting. It was a unexpected mix, but a fun new experience.▶️Claypot Rice: A Creative TwistThe restaurant’s fusion-style claypot rice looked great and was very filling. Sharing between two was perfect. The rice at the bottom had a delicious crispy crust, a favorite for rice lovers. It cost about 60-70 HKD more than regular claypot rice, so it’s a bit pricey, but the ingredients are good quality. Whether it’s worth it depends on your taste.▶️Desserts: The Best PartThe desserts were amazing! They make their own cakes, and every bite was a surprise. The best part? I‘m not sure if it’s because it‘s fresh out of the oven or due to its somewhat remote location, but on that public holiday afternoon at 3 PM, the shop was particularly quiet. I ordered a Flat White, and the coffee was decent, smooth on the palate with balanced flavor. It didn’t have any obvious flaws, but it also wasn‘t memorable enough to impress.
