Had my birthday dinner here for the very first time. Heard very good comment for a long time, therefore we decided to come and have a try. We went for the À la cart menu, as we wanted to try out their seasonal caviar menu, but they do offer a wonderful tasting menu. For starter, we ordered the French oyster with caviar and gin tonic foam. Oyster was very fresh and paired up perfectly with the caviar. Gin tonic foam added an interesting touch to the whole dish and filter other the saltiness of the caviar and oyster.
Then we had 3 of their most famous pasta dishes in their menu, all in their appetiser portion. The lobster angel hair with tomato sauce, oxtail tortelli with white truffle and black truffle ravioli. Their truffle was very fragrant, all pasta were cooked al dente.
For main, we had sole, lamb rack and beef tenderloin with goose liver. Their main course portion were surprisingly big. 5 pieces of sole and 4 slices of lamb rack, we were so full. Lamb and beef was cooked perfectly in medium rare, very tender inside and crispy outside.
Finally for dessert, is a lovely chocolate mousse birthday cake from them. Prefect ending for the nice. Very impressed with their service and very good recommendations from Andy that serves our table. Highly recommend you all for a fine Italian cuisine.
