Tonight I dinned with my girlfriend in a newly opened restaurant named “District 8”, which was located at Element plaza in Tsim Sai Tsui. With the romantic environment and stylish designed of the restaurant, you aren’t only tasting the delicious food there, also the relaxing atmosphere. Furthermore, the friendly and considerate attitude of the waitresses there were another remarkable bonus marks to me.Back to the tasty food, the starters tonight were CHARREd CARLIFLOWER Vadouvan & smoked yoghurt

Back to the tasty food, the starters tonight were CHARREd CARLIFLOWER Vadouvan & smoked yoghurt.
The CHARRED CAULIFLOWER were by far the biggest veggies I have ever had in a western restaurant, you can finish the Vandouvan perfectly by tipping the yogurt sauce and spicy sauce, heathy and creative.
The second dish was MUSSELS MARINIERES Charred baguette. The taste of this dish was simply unbeatable and by far the best MUSSELS I’ve ever had. In my opinion, the winning point of this dish was simply the alcoholic juice and the quality of the MUSSELS. Very fresh and juicy. Having the long french bread by tipping it with the alcoholic juice of the MUSSELS, simply making it to another fantastic experience.
The first main dish of tonight was King PRAWNS Meyer lemon purée & garlic butter. By cooking the four big PRAWNS with butter, garlic and lemon juice, the taste of the Pawns were impressive and wonderful.
The Main focus of tonight’ dish is the WESTHOLME STATION WAGYU(280 GRAMS). My comment about this dish was absolutely positive. With obviously a very good quality of WAGYU, plus excellent cooking skill of chief, I accept waitress’ recommendation by cooing it at medium level. Resulting in a very juicy effect and ‘melted at once’ effect after hitting my tongue .
Perfectly tasty and delicious. One of the best WAGYU I have ever had.
Dessert of tonight were Chocolate Tart and Lemon Tart, dessert aren’t always my cup of tea, especially after finishing certain amounts of meal. However, regarding this two desserts, first of all, the taste of the chocolate tart were strong and really you can feel were full of chocolate. It wouldn’t disappointed you if you were a chocolate fever. About the lemon tart, it was completely different from the chocolate one, bringing you an fresh texture, and simply a healthy choice with big surprise. My girlfriend’ favourite and highly recommended.
About the drinks, first one named ‘THE GARDEN’- Seedlip Garden, Mint, Sugarsnap, Rosemary, Tonic. Very fresh taste and creative.
Another one called ‘ NOT SO COSMO’ - Seedlip Grove, Cranberry, Lime, Burnt Orange. I highly recommended this drink, very special taste without alcohol. It won’t disappointed you.
