Every time I walk by Pie & Tart, I am always tempted to buy a raisin bread. Finally, I gave in and bought two the other day. Taste wise, they were good – just right. As for aroma, I would give them a 9/10. They smelled so irresistibly good that the bus ride seemed to take double the usual travelling time. Even so, I had the courage to leave them for the morning. The next morning, I got a taste of crispy outside and soft interior. What great sensation! As delicious as they were, the breads had one flaw: the uneven spread of raisins. For the first few bites, there were no raisins at all. It was only upon reaching the middle that the first raisin popped up. I would say that sweetness and juiciness was too focused on one area. Other than that, the raisin breads were alright for a first time.
