When it comes to Indian food, people will definitely think of Chungking Mansion for their Indian food. As we stayed around Jordan area, there were only a couple of Indian restaurants that we knew of. Today, we walked past an Indian restaurant and were attracted by the bar lay-out. Nest restaurant is an Indian-Italian fusion theme restaurant. Pineapple juice - It was sweet and cooling, with not much syrup tasted. I guess they use real pineapple to blend.
Mango lassi - It was served in a big mug but it slightly disappoint me. There was not much mango taste in it and was quite sour.
Garlic naan - It was cut into 3 big slices and the portion was quite generous. There was strong garlic taste on the naan and it was crispy on the edges and soft on the surface.
Lamb chop - The highlight of this dinner must be this dish. It was marinated with Indian herbs and spices and every rib was big and tender. It was marinated till it cover the lamb strong smell and the lamb has fully absorbed the spices taste. The meat was juicy and tender.
Tandoori pomfret fish - Again the serving was huge. A slice of lemon was provided so that i can squeeze onto the fish to enhance the flavour. The fish has very strong Indian spices and herbs and the meat was soft and smooth.
Vanilla ice cream - It was basically vanilla ice cream with some sliced fruits at the side. Maybe because of the weather, the ice cream tend to melt faster and it was already not hard when served. The ice cream was sweet and smooth.
