Snide Server Spills Scalding Soup!

A very disappointing experience here. I came in for a quick dinner  and ordered the beef hot pot special. To my dismay, one of the lady servers carelessly spilled the hot pot soup onto my thigh. She apologized, but did not offer to help in any way or even to help get any napkins/tissues. I then asked one of the servers to speak to the manager whom mentioned that the manager was not in today. I requested to speak to  the most senior server at the restaurant, who apologized after hearing the story

A very disappointing experience here. I came in for a quick dinner  and ordered the beef hot pot special. To my dismay, one of the lady servers carelessly spilled the hot pot soup onto my thigh. She apologized, but did not offer to help in any way or even to help get any napkins/tissues. I then asked one of the servers to speak to the manager whom mentioned that the manager was not in today. I requested to speak to  the most senior server at the restaurant, who apologized after hearing the story, but again, did nothing.  Regardless of the good value for money at this restaurant, it is a serious issue to spill anything hot onto any customer as it can be brought up as a claim for personal injury. I was utterly shocked at the complacent attitude of the staff here. I requested for a refund of my dinner, which the lead server agreed to. I will not be coming to this restaurant again and especially would not recommend this restaurant to families with young children given the carelessness of the servers.  To save a quick buck, it is not worth it to endure such poor service.
