I have walked past Lab 10 a couple of times in Langham Place and it was always packed with customers during lunch hours. Yesterday I was invited by a friend who loves Korean grill to this restaurant because of the smokeless grill which is perfect for people who work in an office.
They offer different sets like $99 all-you-can-eat lunch that is perfect for meat lovers who don't take beef and $298 takeout bbq menu for dinner. We picked the $138 75 min all-you-can-eat menu. There was a wide range of choices including various cuts of beef, pork and chicken that is served upon order, and a self-service corner with kimchi, veggies and deep-fried items.
The complimentary Angus beef platter we received by liking their social media page included strong-flavored top blade muscle, fatty short ribs and meaty chuck. Pork belly with a good amount of fat was served as thin slices and dressed with pear sauce, which caramelized quickly and became crispy. Chicken leg was tender. Chicken wings were already split into half so it took less time to grill.
As a side note, customers with spendings over $300 will receive a chance to play the claw machine at the entrance. Prizes include brands like Supreme, Kaws and Ayes!
I don't have all-you-can-eat often because I can't eat much, but Lab 10 does have a high CP value given the food quality. Most of the meat were not heavily marinated which I liked. I also ordered a pint of Stella Artois draft beer which was ice cold and fresh. Modern decor and cosy atmosphere. Efficient service. A short yet enjoyable lunch escape!
