Lunch with boss. My first time at this restaurant, which seems to be boss’ latest favorite. One thing he likes is the flexibility on orders- can order 1 蝦餃 or 2, instead of the normal 4.Boss reminded me that I must try the 豆豉XO醬 on the table- which he considered to be one of the best. Soup of the day was 絲瓜蠔豉煲豬展. Nice.
Boss noted that a must-try item was the char siu. Indeed, texture was great; perfectly burnt; manager explained that they have experimented with iberico pork but decided that 中國梅頭 was a better choice: less fatty.

鮑魚餃 came next. Love the green皮- very chewy and springy.

黑胡椒蟹肉炒粉絲 was next. Very fragrant. Boss noted that adding crab meat to any dish made everything taste better.

Star of the lunch being our dessert: 冰火 red bean- ice lollipop and hot red bean soup. Normally not a fan of 陳皮, but this particular one tasted very good. Ice lollipop had a hint of coconut, adding a bit of natural sweetness. Boss ordered a bunch of ice lollipops as takeaway tea time snacks for the rest of the office.
