Speaking about crepes, there seems to be many restaurants in Hong Kong serving crepes, having said so, there is not much that live up to my expectation.Many of my colleagues suggested this place, so I would give it a try. They offer different lunch set, you can choose whether comes with dessert or not. I have chosen Feta Salad with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, yellow pepper and black olives. The salad is refreshing and simple.
Galette La Fermiere is made of a crepe with chicken, mushrooms and creamy mustard sauce as the fillings, with a small salad as side. This dish was a good surprise, as the creamy mustard sauce is light but tasty, it perfectly complemented the chicken and mushrooms. I would say you should not miss this dish if you do come over to this place.
Dessert is chocolate and carmelised banana on crepe. I was a little disappointed with the dessert, as the chocolate sauce tastes like those supermarket standard chocolate dressings. Besides, I would probably expect a few more pieces of the carmelised banana on top.
Overall, the savoury crepes are done far better than the sweet crepes.
