LLB bistro is located in Sai Ying Pun which might not come to one’s mind as a food hunting place with 10-minute walk from mtr. The bistro is newly opened at its soft opening. Themed LLB (the acronyms of the law studies), the menu is written in ‘contract’ form. I did not sense anything else related to law. Food is exquisite and of high quality. Great services too. Nicely flavored, sided with tomatoes, cheese and asparagus.
Iced rose latte $42
An exquisite beverage that i recommend. From bottom to top: rose syrup, milk, latte, fresh cream, rose petal. Few years ago i looked for cafe with specially flavoured latte but did not fall into any. Now I randomly find one in a bistro!
Eton mess $58
Eton mess has an interesting origin. As a traditional English dessert consisting of a mixture of whipped double cream, strawberries and broken meringue, it was originated from Eton College and is served at the annual cricket match against the pupils of Harrow School in 1890s.
The meal ended my day well.
