waking up at two oclock after a sunburn,i immediately visit paul lafayet to pump in some sugar into the body,or not i really worried that i'll faint suddenly~!long time not visiting,i just remember their vanilla in pear tart was strong and good,and again vanilla in creme burlee was powerful and appealing.the waitress were very polite and kind today,and she recommended several chocolate choices,but i was not at that mood today,also i remember their chocolate blueberry mousse cake was bad.i finall

the waitress were very polite and kind today,
and she recommended several chocolate choices,
but i was not at that mood today,
also i remember their chocolate blueberry mousse cake was bad.

i finally chose one small size: mille feuille,
and large size: mango and mousse with pistachio cake,
to balance the price.

拿破崙$40---custard5/5 and 酥餅3/5
酥餅 was definitely not as good as the peninsula cake shop,

but at least better than mimosa and tony wong,
caramel on 酥餅 was very wet and so when i decided to enjoy my 拿破崙 with bare hands,

it really made my fingers very dirty of brown watery sugar.
the lowest piece of 酥餅 was the thinnest of three,
but tasted the best.
however, the custard was perfect,
with lots of vanilla seeds,
and the texture was so much better than the peninsula cake shop and other pastry shops,
something like melting ice cream or you can say a harder their creme burlee,
haha they just taste the same!

gold and raspberry were not helping at all,
and mango jam was too much feeling of gelatin.

mousse was right at taste,
but same,
too much feeling of gelatin.

pistachio sponge was good,
that it was slightly harder than usual,
like baked almond cream,
but the whole thing was too simple and taste like just an usual cut cake in arome bakery.

so,
definitely i will be back for their creme burlee,
