I love Pret. I'm such a regular. But recently, the Causeway Bay branch has undergone a green revamp.The outside Pret sign has gone from burgandy to green. All their eating utensils have changed to the color green. WHY?It's due to this. Pret has created a dedicated area for vegetarians. They have drinks, sandwiches, salads and even dessert. All vegetarian friendly. Some are vegan friendly.I decided grabbed a few items. This was the British cheddar and Pret pickle sandwich ($22), Tumeric Tonic

I decided grabbed a few items. This was the British cheddar and Pret pickle sandwich ($22), Tumeric Tonic ($55) and a five berry yogurt pot ($22). One of my favorite sandwiches has the Pret pickle, cheddar and some sort of meat (which they discontinued) but now it's back minus the meat. I love the pickle they add it goes great with the cheddar. The yogurt pot is one of my favorites and a must add item on my Pret bites. But I had never tried the Tumeric Tonic. Made up of tumeric, carrot, pineapple and orange. This was the ultimate flu buster! It was pretty delicious. You do need to shake to mix as it does separate. But wow....I can add this to my list of favorite Pret drinks.
A really great addition to their already great selection of food. I may not be vegetarian or vegan, but this gives a good option for those that are. And a good option for me if I want to go without meat for a day..
