Terrance in seaside has a seasonal promotion for pineapple dishes. I decided to try their drink and sandwich.However, both items had their flaws. For the pineapple smoothie, there was quite a large amount of ice in the drink that was not blended fully, resulting in the drink to be quite coarse. It was a bit difficult to drink it through the paper straw. However, both items had their flaws. For the pineapple smoothie, there was quite a large amount of ice in the drink that was not blended fully, resulting in the drink to be quite coarse. It was a bit difficult to drink it through the paper straw. In the end, I decided to use a spoon instead.

For the fruit sandwich, the combination of the the juicy pineapple with sandwich was not a good choice. Their mixed fruit sandwich in the past actually uses the cream to fixed the position of the fruit in the sandwich. This creates a pretty pattern and more importantly, this prevents the bread from being soggy. However, by adding the piece of pineapple in the sandwich and with the minimal cream, the bread was quite soggy by the time it was served. The flavor was good though.
