Found this place for lunch after reading the "lovejapfood.org" website and saw that the ratings at openrice is quite good. Decided to come here to try with my friend. The place itself was easy to find but it is indeed quite small. We arrived at 12:30. The restaurant was not full and we didn't have to wait. I ordered a lunch set of mini 海膽三文魚子飯and cold udon set. It was emphasized that the food came from Korea. My friend ordered a fried pork rice set.
My lunch came quite quickly but my friend's set took about 20 minutes. Which was fine considering that it was freshly prepared.
The uni was not fresh and tasted bitter. The 三文魚子was not fresh as well. The cold udon was okay but very little dipping sauce was provided.
The fried pork was freshly cooked but in general some parts were tough and hard to chew. However, the salad provided is quite impressive.Overall, the food is not fresh and the restaurant completely overrated. 魚一丁's lunch set is a better deal and they have fresher food. The lunch set also includes a coffee!
