Went for the $588pp Shumatsu Brunch for a friend’s birthday celebration. Wrote down that it was for a birthday in the reservation booking as they promised that it will be a great experience… but we got no special service and no birthday dessert. Aside from this, the food portion was small and the quality wasn’t great. Aside from this, the food portion was small and the quality wasn’t great. For the dessert, it says Monaka Ice Cream Sandwich in the menu and what we got was one monaka ice cream to share between two (it wasn’t even a sandwich). Didn’t even take a photo of the dessert as it was nothing special just a small ice-cream circle with bits of fruit on top. I was not in the mood anymore, feeling like this meal was mediocre given the price we are paying. We did give feedback on this to a staff but all we got was that this menu’s cost is mostly on the seafood and so to offset the dessert needs to be shared. We would be alright if the meal and service was value for money however it really wasn’t! The corn was too greasy and there was sand in the scallops. Had high hopes, was a let down.
