A very nostalgic bowl of goodness that recalled so much memories from the past as we used to have it all the time. The amount of chicken pieces in the pot was quite generous so it took us a while to devour the chicken before adding in the soup base to form a hotpot. Together with the rich spicy sauce and the draught beer, it definitely was an enjoyable combo.
There were quite a wide array of hotpot ingredients to choose from and we attempted a few creative ones that were remarkably good. The beef balls with cheese was one of the exciting ones as I didn’t expect it to be so succulent. The truffle shrimp balls smelled good but did not taste as rich. The draught beer was such a good deal as it was one plus one so you definitely cannot miss that.
Very classic Chinese style decorations with their iconic lanterns that generated a peaceful ambience.
