Boyfriend and I each chose a noodle set for $48. This included one type of noodle, an appetizer and a drink (either soymilk or soft drink or box drink). Pretty cheap!
We shared the appetizers. We chose vegetarian chicken (on the left) and deep fried veggie bean curd roll (on the right). The vegetarian chicken was ok. Tasted a bit like Vietnamese sausage. The veggie bean curd roll was crispy and filled with bean sprouts.
I had the mutton noodles, choosing a flat noodle. It was ok. The mutton was ok but a bit on the chewy side. The soup had a slight Chinese herbal soup taste. It wasn't very strong but it was there.
Boyfriend ordered the beef version. The herbal soup taste wasn't as strong in this one. The beef was extremely chewy.
It was ok. The meat was a bit on the tough side. But the soup was good. A slight herbal taste but not too strong to not like. Prices are not expensive. Place was fairly clean. Would I return? I guess if there was nothing else to eat that day.
