A new Starbucks has opened up in Hong Kong. It's not your regular Starbucks because they proclaim this one the flagship. Serving regular Starbucks items, they also have three other sections: Starbucks Reserve for more serious coffee drinkers, Teavana for tea fans and an alcohol section for those that want a more boozy coffee experience. They also have their own menu along with food menu that is a little bit fancier. You can order at that designated counter or take the menu and go to the regular
I saw that the Reserve section and ordered the Nitro Brew Float ($66). With the hot humid weather, it looked inviting!
This is what it looked like. A light foam on top. But the scoop of ice cream wasn't as big as the photo. The coffee was ok Clear and crisp. But the ice cream ... was icy. Was it due to the nitro from the coffee? But then I would assume they add that ice cream afterwards? Wouldn't they? I don't know? Maybe I should have tried the other ones? I've had their classic affogato before and I know it was good.
