Had a really happy dinner with my college-mates in Sheung Wan, celebrating one of them’s birthday. We ordered a Salt-baked Chicken (Half), the chicken meat was quite tender and juicy, even the chicken breast part, but the flavour seemed a bit too mild.On the other hand, the Roasted Goose (Half) we ordered was more seasoned and well-roasted. On the other hand, the Roasted Goose (Half) we ordered was more seasoned and well-roasted. The skin was not too oily and cracking crispy.
The Deep-fried Salt and Pepper Tofu was a delightful snack, every bite-sized piece was hot and yummy. The batter was not too think yet crunchy enough.
The signature Crispy Sweet and Sour Pork here was of course everyone’s favourite. The caramelised coating went so well with the rice! The best part of it all, was the free corkage! We drank a few bottles and had a great time.
