I was trying to find some good takeaway in Tai Hang last week. Just walking around checking out the menus, when I came across this place. No idea what it's called, but they had some cold noodles with shredded chicken and vegetables in a sesame sauce. Sounded alot some some great noodles I had at another place so I thought I'd give them a go. And at $40 I could afford to take a chance. The noodles were incredible! No idea what it's called, but they had some cold noodles with shredded chicken and vegetables in a sesame sauce. Sounded alot some some great noodles I had at another place so I thought I'd give them a go. And at $40 I could afford to take a chance. The noodles were incredible! The portion was great, not too small. Had some good veggies on it, the chicken was tasty and the noodles and sauce were perfect. I've been back a couple more times, and the noodles have been just as good every time, Eat in or take away. I also tried the noodles with minced pork. They were very good as well. Different noodles. More of a wide flat noodle and served hot instead of cold, but with the same veggies, and still very good. My family also tried some dumplings which were very good. Chicken and mushroom, and the fruit juices were very good as well. When the main meal is only $40 you can afford nice drinks and appetizers.
My wife doesn't eat pork, so a lot of the menu is out for her, but she still found things, and my 7y/o son loves the cold noodles with sesame sauce as well. I expect I'll be eating from here about once a week from now on!
The staff's english is not great, but they are very friendly and the menu has english on it, so pointing was all we needed to get our order in. Beware that they are closed on Wednesdays though.
