The Vietnamese restaurant BEP at K11 Musea has comfortable seats and dim lighting on one side, while it’s brighter on the other side. It’s usually full during regular lunch and dinner times, so be prepared to go there at irregular hours, such as after 2pm for lunch or in between 4pm & 5pm. I love going there as their food is excellent and with comfortable seats, unlike other authentic Vietnamese restaurants with reasonable price. Here are my usual dishes:
- 炙燒牛柳湯粉 Grilled beef filet (seared tenderloin) pho
- 河內生牛肉粉 Medium rare beef pho
- 香茅串燒沙嗲 雞 / 牛 Satay skewers
- 燒豬扒撈檬 Grilled pork bun
- 烤三文魚撈檬 Grilled salmon bun
- 豬油渣撈飯 Steamed rice with pork crackers
- 牛油果沙冰Avocado smoothie

The food quality and meat texture for all of the above dishes are excellent. The炙燒牛柳 are medium this time when we had it, while during previous times they were medium rare. For a price of $128, just a little more than the 生牛河, it’s really value for money.

The avocado smoothie reflects its natural flavour and it’s not sweet. It’s very thick and better to be eaten with the spoon provided, just like eating fro-yo, rather than using the straw to drink.

The grilled salmon filets, 2 large pieces in the bowl, rely on the dill and fried garlic seasoning on top, which I usually dip into fish sauce to get an extra layer of flavour.
