I visit here quite often as the location is very convinient to me. I like the outdoor seats as it is at a quiet corner of the busy civic square.It was all good until we visit again with a new staff serving our table. I am not sure if that is a new manager, but if that’s the case, it’s terrible and I might not come here again.I was trying to order a cake and apart from the a la carte, the menu wrote something like “ask our staff for the special selection”. It was all good until we visit again with a new staff serving our table. I am not sure if that is a new manager, but if that’s the case, it’s terrible and I might not come here again.
I was trying to order a cake and apart from the a la carte, the menu wrote something like “ask our staff for the special selection”. Out of interest, i asked what kind of cake they serve for today, and he just reply “it is all shown here” and turn away very quickly. He didn’t even have the patience to wait for my order. I tried to call him back several times until he finally hears me when I raised my voice.
What’s even worse is that we were being seated very close to the bar and we could hear the staff’s conversation very clearly. We felt really uncomfortable that every time this staff finished taking order of one table, he keeps returning to the bar and start chatting again.
The service here used to be very friendly and energetic! We really liked the manager who left last year. Food & drinks are great as usual. Pet-friendly seatings. Just dropping service level. What a shame!
