On this day, I will try 迷客夏 (English name: Milksha). Located right next to Hysan Place, is another tea shop that originates from Taiwan. However, they are famous for their milk series in that they will provide you with a glass of milk blended with whatever is on their menu.
Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge and it is take away only. From what you can see, if you do have lactose intolerancy or you are dairy free, they do have non-milk vesions. But just the usual fruit teas.
Boyfriend ordered a taro milk ($32), pictured on the right and I ordered the red beans sesame milk ($30), on the left. Size was ok. Not too big and not too small. However, I guess I was expecting them to blend the milk before flavoring it. Instead what we got was our flavoring and then milk being poured in. It wasn't even Taiwanese milk. It was just some Australian brand. The only mixing we got was when it was turned up and down in the sealed cup before being handed over to us. So, basically, it tasted like milk with stuff in it. It wasn't even that good. Won't be back.
