I used to go to Greyhound a lot when I was in secondary school, and my favourite dishes included the seafood pad thai and their infamous crepe cakes🍰 We started with some fusion appetisers, including the single-bone chicken wings and the salmon carpaccio. The chicken wings were as good as always, very rich in flavours and the skin was crispy👍🏻 The salmon carpaccio was made in Thai style, kinda like the classic Thai raw shrimp sashimi actually. The chicken wings were as good as always, very rich in flavours and the skin was crispy👍🏻 The salmon carpaccio was made in Thai style, kinda like the classic Thai raw shrimp sashimi actually. The salmon tasted pretty fresh and sweet, and went unexpectedly well with the sour & spicy sauce👌🏻
Moving on to the main courses, we ordered the pad thai with lobster and the fried pork knuckle.
The pad thai was AMAZING, especially when presented with the huge and shiny lobster! The pad thai was cooked very well to give a nice texture, and tasted great with the shredded peanuts and spices👍🏻 The lobster pieces, though not a lot, tasted good as well.
The pork knuckle was pretty good too, and the portion was huge as well. I really liked the crispy texture of the pork skin!
Last but not least, we shared the thai milk tea crepe cake. The presentation was so cute!! I really liked the 3 giraffes (or deers?lol) on the cake😂
The crepes were nicely made to give a nice flavour that wasn’t overly sweet and the multiple layers of crepes were good. The thai milk tea tasted very rich in milk tea flavour and they were very generous in the portion of both the sauce and the cake👍🏻
