Went there for lunch today. When the noodle arrived it was huge. I selected 5 ingredients to accompany my rice noodle
1. dao pok
2. pork belly
3. cabbage
4. bean curd
5. Spicy minced pork
There were loads of ingredients and rice noodle to satisfy my hunger, but i found it very difficult to eat it from the beginning cause the bowl was way too small to fit all the things into the bowl making some of the soup overflow. Looking around at the restaurant I saw that no matter how much a person orders they serve it in the same size bowl which is kinda stupid!
Anyways back to the taste of the food. It was amazing! I ordered the soup base to be average spicy and sour and it was really good. With a quality soup base it makes the noodles and the side dish taste good as well
However there are some minor setbacks to the taste of the food. After an hour or so eating the noodle I was dying of thirst which I think is due to the huge amount of MSG they put into the soup base of their noodle.
So overall I think this is a great place to eat rice noodle if one is not scared of MSG as they have many choices and it does taste quite good
