My colleague knows I love Korean food, she took me to a local Korean restaurant at Kwun Tong Industrial Buidling this time. Lunch at around 1pm for us but we arrived there 12:45pm as she said will be lots of people waiting, just avoid missing our reserved table. We are two ladies & order two set lunch: Fried Korean noodle with onion beef - It was come with fresh onion and some korean powder inside the noodle, it was not a cold dish but it was not hot at all. Fried Korean noodle with onion beef - It was come with fresh onion and some korean powder inside the noodle, it was not a cold dish but it was not hot at all. Actually I am not sure this is cold serve or hot serve, perhaps 'warm serve'... The beef taste really bad and it was harsh and seems overcooked. Noodle was a little bit spicy and taste nice, the sauce they put inside the noodle perhaps it is Korean chilly powder. For people who like to eat spicy food, this is really not enough.. should be more ! For people who do not eat spicy, this is enough
Beef rib with carrots - It came with a dish like a soup, there were only 2 small beef rib (luckily we have a huge dish of noodle, otherwise not enough from this beef rib)...and it come with a bowl of rice. The sauce or should I call it soup, taste very sweet and with beef smell, I wonder it was cooked separately otherwise how can the sauce with strong beef taste in this lack of beef rib portion? The carrots were soft and sweet, tasted not too bad. But, i don't not recommend to try this dish again because it is really too small even for one person! Beef rib made me disappointed!
We were only two ladies but the staff gave us total 8 korean mini starters, it was fair enough and this is the only thing I feel satisfied of this restaurant! Staff was a bit rude and they went away very fast, perhaps, lots of customers during lunch time. Many people asked for help..waiting so long, but not enough staff to serve
Overall - not to try unless not yet try !
