Heard that JOMO does good cakes so we decided to pay a visit on a weekday afternoon. There were no customers when we arrived at 1ish but it got more crowded when it was 2.We ordered a toast platter to share and got to pick three out of the four options they provided. We ordered a toast platter to share and got to pick three out of the four options they provided. The presentation was really good and we like how they care about the little details such as sugar glazing the pineapple and mixing the salad with almond slices and raisins 🥳 Unfortunately, the sourdough was quite dry and hard which was a bit disappointing for the price...
We also ordered an iced soy latte and mocha - and again love how considerate they are that they used an ice ball for our soy latte! it melts slower than cubes of ice so the drink wouldn’t be diluted that fast👍🏻 the coffee itself is very good too.
For dessert, we chose a slice of Hojicha cheesecake as they don’t serve matcha roll cake the day we went...however, the cheesecake was quite nice and not heavy at all which we managed to finish the whole slice within 5 mins haha the hojicha and cheese flavour complemented each other perfectly and we are definitely coming for it again!
All in all, their desserts and beverages are better than their savoury dishes. But no doubt it’s a nice and cosy place to hang out with your friend!
