I have long heard that this is one of the best yakiniku restaurant in Hong Kong. After doing some research, I realized that the Soho branch is around $50 more expensive per set, but all of the courses would be grilled by their staff, while you would have to grill the meat by yourself at the Sheung Wan branch. I immediately chose the Soho branch, as I believe the staff would handle the ingredients with better skills, and could grill them to the perfect rarity. We chose the set with 7 cuts of beef
1. Wagyu Sushi
A dropper is provided for you to drip in the soy sauce. Very nice gimmick.
2. Salad
3. Yakisashi
It is paired with wasabi and a soy sauce butter cube
4. Fillet
5. Musuji
6. Daisankaku
7. Mushroom
It’s sprayed with Sake and was very juicy
8. Burger
It’s paired with Japanese egg yolk and sweet soy sauce
9. Tougarashi
It’s paired with a fish broth
10. Sirloin
It’s paired with rice, sesame and Japanese egg yolk
11. Hojicha Icecream (complimentary for birthday celebration)
We enjoyed the entire experience. All the beef cuts were melt-in-the-mouth-yummy. Definitely worth a visit!
