I usually go to Tai Hing during afternoon tea session where they have my favorite macaroni in borsch soup and fried chicken wings. But on this day, they had something different on the menu.Macaroni borsch soup with meat roll.  Meat roll? Curiosity got the better of me so I ordered it.What a mistake. What a mistake. The meat rolls was actually fish meat rolled around an imitation crab stick, chewy seaweed and then further wrapped in beancurd skin. All this was then deep fried so it was soaking in oil as all these are sponges for oil. It was horrible. The borsch soup seemed to be better than normal with actual chunks of beef in it. But the meat roll was a no more for me. I'll stick to the chicken wing version from now on.
