This was the third or fourth time I've been to Nagahama No. 1 Ramen and I like that it's a bit more off the beaten path compared to your Ichiran's and Butao's. The restaurant is tiny (hence the standard wait) but cosy and serve a hearty bowl of ramen made with a lot of love and care. The style of ramen and broth is similar to that of Ichiran but that fact that I'm not sitting in a stalls and can see the chefs makes it a little more personal. The only complaint I would have is that the piece of non fatty pork had a strange aftertaste to it possibly due to the surface it was cooked on. 

Other than that, a lovely intimate setting for ramen hipsters who want something other than the standard chain offerings.
