This restaurant has a lot of potential and the staff were friendly with good service. Sadly, it was fairly empty for a Satlunchtime. The disappointing experience was that its weekend brunch menu fails its customers on several fronts. Firstly, the weekend brunch menu includes a salad bar buffet (which was fairly decent), a main course and a drink, but if one person orders from the brunch menu, it means EVERYONE on the table has to order from the brunch menu. Firstly, the weekend brunch menu includes a salad bar buffet (which was fairly decent), a main course and a drink, but if one person orders from the brunch menu, it means EVERYONE on the table has to order from the brunch menu. There is no option for a customer to separately order from the a la carte menu (which is absurd as it assumes all customers are cheats and want to freeload from the salad bar through their friends!).
Secondly, if you cannot finish the main course that you ordered from the weekend brunch menu, you are required to pay an EXTRA HK$20 for each dish you take away (I adopt a zero food waste approach in life). This is ridiculous as the main course is already included in the price. The reason given that the restaurant owner does not want the customers to eat too much from the salad bar and saving the main course for the next meal is rather insulting. I have no intention of returning to this restaurant which is a shame.
