4th February, 2011On the day of my mum's birthday, we stayed home for dinner but i found no reason why we should not celebrate again. Afterall, we have to wait for another 365 days before our birthday come again - so why not grab the opportunity to make others happy? Knowing that the blueberry cheesecake at Cova is nice, i purchased a slice from its Festival Walk shop and took it home.I also bought a chocolate drawing pen from Maxims' as i wanted to replicate the birthday cake presented at Sim
On the day of my mum's birthday, we stayed home for dinner but i found no reason why we should not celebrate again. Afterall, we have to wait for another 365 days before our birthday come again - so why not grab the opportunity to make others happy? Knowing that the blueberry cheesecake at Cova is nice, i purchased a slice from its Festival Walk shop and took it home.
I also bought a chocolate drawing pen from Maxims' as i wanted to replicate the birthday cake presented at Simplylife Cafe on my best friend's birthday.
The blueberry cheesecake slice was not big but costed me $50 - not quite a bargain. Different from what's offered at Paul Lafayet, this is more light and resembles CREAM rather than CHEESE. the texture is a little weird to me tho...i was expecting something similar to CREAM CHEESE and not WHIPPED CREAM. My mum said she prefered this over what she had last sunday....i guess that's really a matter of personal taste then. But the blueberry compote on top was lovely and sweet.
