Had dinner here with my family. As there were only 8 of us in total, we only tried a few dishes. Turned out to be a really great dinner ... ... Besides the well-known 白肺靈芝燉螺頭湯 and the truly irresistable 金陵乳豬烤香苗 (really yummy and enough portions for at least 12 persons and more !!), we also tried the following items: 燒汁炆牛脇骨 - tender ribs marinated in rich teriyaki sauce, very tasty and well worth a try; 腊味浸菠菜 - vegetables immersed in lots of 腊肉 and 潤腸, giving it a rich flavour and especially good
Besides the well-known 白肺靈芝燉螺頭湯 and the truly irresistable 金陵乳豬烤香苗 (really yummy and enough portions for at least 12 persons and more !!), we also tried the following items: 燒汁炆牛脇骨 - tender ribs marinated in rich teriyaki sauce, very tasty and well worth a try; 腊味浸菠菜 - vegetables immersed in lots of 腊肉 and 潤腸, giving it a rich flavour and especially good when taken together with plain rice; 鮑魚菇時菜 - a simple dish cooked nicely, which was a welcome relief after all the heavy dishes ... ...
The complimentary desserts were also great: ? 葡撻 - really delicious, with rich caramel flavour which resembled the taste of creme brulee; and 紅豆pudding, which helped to ease off the heavy flavour remaining in the mouth after the meal ... ...
Overall a most enjoyable evening. Price may be a bit on the expensive side though it is not a problem at all. Seems that there are still a lot of goodies on the menu .... .... but nevermind, we'll be back !
