Recently lots of cute little shops have popped up, and I was surprised to find there's a small shop that serves beer and has magic performances!!I had made plans with my friend to come here as he loves magic, but I passed by this restaurant earlier today and was quite hungry so I decided to come in and give it a try first. I got the Beer steamed blue mussels with sourdough toast $138. There was ample sauce for dipping the sourdough, and the mussels tasted so delicious as it was cooked in beer. I
I had made plans with my friend to come here as he loves magic, but I passed by this restaurant earlier today and was quite hungry so I decided to come in and give it a try first.
I got the Beer steamed blue mussels with sourdough toast $138. There was ample sauce for dipping the sourdough, and the mussels tasted so delicious as it was cooked in beer. I also ordered the Potato fries with 3 HK style sauces (salted bean curd, sweet sesame, and plum sauce) $88. I personally liked the sweet sesame sauce the best as it tasted like the sauce you put on rice rolls (cheung fun). The fries were fried to perfection and was so crispy. Loved how it even had some potato skin on them, this proves that it was freshly cut from real potatoes!
The Creamy avocado crab meat pasta $128 was actually a really big plate. The price was very worth it as there were lots or crab meat.
Obviously I had to try a couple of their beers. I got the Purple dream $108 which was my favourite as they used butterfly pea and it has a nice purple hue. I also got three other beers and I rank them in the following order:
1)Fruity: jasmine green tea wheat beer from Hong Kong's heroes $88
2)Hoppy: juice train neipa from Australia's deeds $98
3)Malty: red dates amber ale from Hong Kong's Hands
Overall had a great time here and can't wait to come back for their magic show
