But with so many options in Causeway Bay, we never really think to give it a try. One evening, we again were walking around wondering what to eat we came across their advertising poster again. Looking up the reviews, they seemed positive, so we went to give it a try.


Located across the street from Sogo, it's in a building that we thought were mostly offices. Much to our surprise when we entered and it was really nice inside. Spacious seating with grilling stations at each table. We arrived early but it started to fill up as the evening wore on.

The menu is in English and Chinese and has a fairly good selection of grilling items and appetizers. All at very reasonable prices. However, I found this: A two people set for $698 that includes a decent amount of food. But we had had a huge lunch, so we weren't that hungry and just decided to order a la carte.

They do provide free tea but I wanted something carbonated as I knew I was going to get a lot of oily food. So, I ordered a pineapple ramune ($25, on the left). I have never seen this before and it was pretty good. A sugary pineapple taste. I liked it more than the regular ramune. Boyfriend ordered a shizuoka cola ($36, on the right). This is a green tea soft drink and yes, it did taste like green tea.

Premium Ox Tongue (Thick Slices) with Salt ($78). The ox tongue was juicy and moist even when we overcooked it.

24 cm Pot Marinate Short Ribs ($93). The staff informed us to dunk the strip into the bowl of marinade for about `10 - 15 minutes before cooking it. Sear it on the grill on both sides and dunk it into the bowl of marinade again for another 5 minutes before finish grilling for maximum flavor.

So, we did that! Letting it marinade while we ate other  food.

And searing it in a circle. Flipping it once before dunking it back into the marinade before grilling it again. We cut it into chunks after it was finished cooking. And? This was the best of the entire evening. The marinade was fantastic. A sweet savory sauce that beef soaked up. The meat was tender and juicy. Soaked with all the flavor, this was great and we'd order this again the next time we return.

100g Prime Saga Wagyu Rib Eye  ($238). They had several types of wagyu but we chose Saga beef for it has a finer fat to meat content hat Kagoshima beef. And we weren't disappointed. A nice cross section of fat to beef. All you needed was a good quick sear. It literally melted in my mouth.

Decent selections and good quality ingredients. Prices were not expensive at all. Place was clean considering there was a lot of oil splattering from grilling meat. Service was helpful. I saw they have lunch sets so will return again to try that.
