I’ve been going to this café since it opened on the neighbouring street. The current place was a little bit bigger. I often think of having a meal here when I need a good coffee with light lunch. The pasta here is cooked al dente and the sauce is well made and generous. This time I chose spaghetti with spinach and mushroom in cream sauce while hubby chose the pesto and salmon version. Our orders arrived at the same time. The pasta was cooked nicely as usual. I enjoyed the rich cream sauce and the veggie was also a relief from the previous hot pot dinner I had. Hubby said the herbal taste of the pesto sauce was not strong enough. They serve Lavazza coffee. The portion was small but came with a generous jug of milk. Although the coffee was quite bitter only half a pack of sugar is needed to complete the rich taste. It was a good shot on a Sunday afternoon.The waitress was thoughtful to offer us water before we go. I always have a knack of supporting these kinds of small family restaurants so that we could have more choices apart from large chain eateries.
