Tacos and Mexican food have never really had a presence in HK but it’s slowly starting to trend up, esp in areas near central.I recently went to tacqueria super macho (or whatever it’s called) so I think I have some recent experience to make a judgementThe tacos here are fine. The tacos here are fine. I tried a couple like the fish, the mushroom. Each one ranges in price from like 50-70 HKD... which is a lot for a taco but honestly that is the industry price so there no reason for them to price more reasonably. The tacos are also quite small, so 4 set me back like $200 HKD. I’m pretty sure I was not full after that either. I also tried their churros, which were also fine and good a while
If it’s your birthday, they’ll sing and do a candle for you here if that’s your thing. I have no idea if they’ll give you a free churro for it, but don’t quote me on that
Anyway I’m not that wild about Mexican food and this place is fairly expensive, so I’m not sure I’d come back
