Harbin beer was served ice cold. Light and refreshing.
◆Mala Soup x Tomato Soup
The mala soup wasn't that spicy so we put more chili peppers to make it pungent. Not much MSG. Tomato soup was appetizing and flavorful.
◆Lamb
Ordered both premium lamb and New Zealand lamb to compare - both had a tenderized texture while the NZ lamb was way more gamey with edible soft bones which went well with the mala soup.
◆九仙宮 - Basa, Shrimp, Beef Omasum, Beef Ball, Fresh Duck Blood, Goose Intestine, Sea Cucumber Intestine, Seaweed, Beef Throat
A platter with 9 small dishes which was perfect for 2 to share. Well-thought selection of seafood, innards, meat and veggies. My favorites were beef ball - bouncy and bursting with meat juice and duck blood - fresh and smooth.
Prompt and excellent service which I don't usually expect in hot pot restaurants. Highly recommending this place for its good value.
