There is always a line but when boyfriend and I walked by, there was no one in line! This didn't last long after we ordered as a queue started.
Menu is in English and Chinese. They have a variety of tea base drinks and a limited "aurora" drink that was sold out when I was there.
They have instructions on how to drink it. They suggest your drink it without mixing it to get the real taste of the deerioca. This is what they call their specially made boba pearls.
I ordered the brown sugar deerioca matcha latte ($28). According to them, they not only make a unique deerioca (the boba pearls) but their own brown cane sugar. First things first, the tea wasn't that good. It was strong but it wasn't fragrant. It had a slight bitter edge to it. The bottom was warm as the brown sugar was hot to begin with and following their instructions to drink, you get a bit wallop of sugar syrup instead of tea. Or maybe I was drinking it wrong? The boba pearls were excellent though. They were a good size, not too big and not too small. Easy to suck up through my straw. They were soft and chewy. Not hard at all. The boba was definitely excellent.
Boyfriend ordered the taro red bean green milk tea ($28). This was a bit mediocre as the taro flavor was next to nonexistent. The red beans were soft but nothing exceptional.
For a drink, it was pretty average and definitely not worth the hype to queue up. The tapioca pearls were definitely excellent and some of the best I've had in Hong Kong. But overall not worth the hype. I'd wait until there was no queue to try.
