My first experience was very disappointing. We had a table for 4 and was entertaining relatives from London.Most of the dishes we ordered were pretty good with moderate flavors. Most of the dishes we ordered were pretty good with moderate flavors. Nothing really special. The evening started with the server bringing me a glass of white wine when I ordered a glass of red wine. I started the meal with the fried calamari and it was fine. It is really not fine dining and the prices were fair so no need to be discriminating. Therefore it was adequate. The most disspointing part of the evening was the server completely forgot my main course which was the eggplant parmasian. The eggplant parmasian finally arrived after everyone else had finished and it was fine. I think the recipe was fine but it may have neen underseasoned and I had to add a bit of cheese and crushed hot peppers to the dish. The server did not even offer us free dessert or complimentary wine. Average food and poor service is not a recipe for success. I will never return.
